Usurping Rising. The Target: The 4th Amendment

The case regarding the Apple Computers and the FBI is a curious one. The FBI, while in the process of investigating the surrounding the mass shootings in San Bernardino California in December. are attempting to place the pieces together for this horrible crime. The FBI is requesting that Apple help them with the investigation by assisting in the "unlocking" of the killer's Apple 5c iphone. Apple has refused to do so, despite an order given by a U.S. Magistrate.

If Apple simply complies to this request, his leads to a dangerous legal precedent. If Apple simply concedes in turning over evidence, and they were not a party to the crime, this means, based on case law, the Federal Government can simply demand evidence. This usurps the 4th Amendment. This technology is Apple's private property, and they were not involved in the crime.
